Did you know that you should clean your water cooler at least twice per year?

As a service to our customers, Simply Pure Water offers Water Cooler Cleaning.  You can drop your cooler off at our retail showroom or we can pick up your water cooler for a thorough cleaning and multi-point inspection.  For commercial customers, we offer complimentary "loaner" coolers while their water coolers are being maintained.  Contact Us if you would like to schedule a Water Cooler Cleaning.

To clean your water cooler yourself you can use the following instructions:

1. Unplug your water cooler and drain all water from the reservoir
2. Remove the E-Z Spill System (spill proof prong)
3. Remove the disk or cup dividing chilled water from room temperature water.
4. Wash the loose items removed above in warm, soapy water.  Rinse as described below
5. Add warm, soapy water to the reservoir and scrub.  Drain thoroughly through both taps.
6. Rinse with clear, pure water thoroughly.
7. Fill reservoir with clear, pure water.  Add 1 tablespoon of household bleach and let stand for ten minutes.
8. Drain thoroughly and use this water to soak items removed above.
9. Rinse the reservoir and all loose parts with pure water until the Chlorine odour from the bleach is gone.
10. Re-assemble your water cooler, plug it in and ENJOY!
